AIDS Project

To help combat the growing incidence of AIDS and the many negative effects associated with the disease, Limón Aid has done and will continue to do the following:

• Educate (using teaching and informational material) residents of Limón about AIDS and how it can be prevented


• Distribute condoms and birth control pills


• Provide medication and AIDS/HIV testing kits


• Support families dealing with AIDS by supplying food, clothing, and money for transportation to and from treatment


• Work with local personnel who will continue to fight the AIDS problem in our absence
